About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate and efficient movement, storage, and management of materials within the warehouse or manufacturing facility. This role involves handling inventory, ensuring timely supply of materials to production lines, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is on site Monday- Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM in our Greenwood Village office.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and tracking systems
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certifications may be required)
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (temperature, noise, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred, including receiving experience

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, confirming quantities and conditions against purchase orders.
  • Store materials in designated locations, keeping inventory accessible, organized, and easy to locate.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, perform routine cycle counts, and promptly report discrepancies.
  • Move materials to and from production lines, workstations, storage areas, and loading docks using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
  • Pick and prepare materials for production or shipment based on work orders or shipping documentation.
  • Inspect materials for damage or defects and communicate issues to the supervisor.
  • Complete required documentation for receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions.
  • Follow all safety procedures and operate equipment responsibly to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris; properly dispose of waste materials.
  • Partner with team members and other departments to support efficient material flow and overall operational success.
