About The Position

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Material Handler I based at our Greenville, NC technology solutions center. What you will do: Receive incoming materials and manufactured components, verifying quantities, labeling, and documentation for accuracy. Store materials in assigned locations and maintain an organized, clean, and safe stockroom environment. Pick, issue, and deliver materials to production, shipping, and storage areas as needed. Accurately record inventory movements and transactions in the inventory/ERP system. Perform daily cycle counts and assist with scheduled physical inventories. Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring items are properly protected from damage. Operate material handling equipment safely to move inventory throughout the facility. Manage all outbound international shipments to global manufacturing facilities. Monitor and maintain operational supplies, including hardware components and shipping materials. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–5 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or retail environment
  • Experience handling inventory and maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Experience using material handling equipment
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds in a warehouse or production environment
  • Experience with international shipping and customs documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using an inventory management or ERP system preferred
