HMH has an opening for an entry level Site Material Handler position in Houston, TX. The Material Handler's responsibilities include operating fork trucks, overhead and jib cranes, operating equipment to cut materials accurately, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety. They measure and cut materials based on job specifications and perform routine maintenance on machining equipment. They also load and unload materials using forklifts and cranes, as well as gather materials to fulfill customer orders. Follow all HMH safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. The Material Handler role requires skills developed through formal training or work experience. You will work within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify approach and must complete assigned tasks with a moderate degree of supervision.
