About The Position

The primary objective of this position is to operate various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished products in the shipping and receiving process. The role involves working the 3rd shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM. The candidate will be responsible for operating equipment such as Sit-Down Forklifts, Stand-Up/Reach Forklifts, and Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklifts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and order picker experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Key orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
• Convey picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.
• Operate various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking.
• Open crates and inspect product.
• Apply labels to product according to established procedures.
• Verify shading of product and place into accurate warehouse location.
• Utilize powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received.
• Key location of product into inventory control system and place product onto shelves.
• Ensure product is placed into accurate location.
• Wrap and pack products by hand into boxes for shipping.
• Label boxes with packing slip.
• Load boxes into conveyor belt.
• Verify orders for accuracy.
• Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to supervisor.
• Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keep area safe, clean, and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.
