The Material Handler I is responsible for locating and loading customer products onto and from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using both manual and non-motorized equipment. This role involves counting, weighing, and recording the number of units of materials handled. The Material Handler I also completes specialized order processing for loading, which includes stenciling, shrink wrapping, labeling, and consolidating products as required by the order. Additionally, this position requires preparing trailers prior to loading by inspecting and cleaning them to ensure the preservation of the product. The Material Handler I may also assist in building and grounds maintenance and participate in physical inventories.
