The position involves performing repetitive simple manual tasks that include lifting and moving products. The individual will assist other material handlers, machine operators, and supervisors as needed, while also maintaining a clean work area. A key responsibility is to manufacture, distribute, and consistently maintain safe and quality food by adhering to good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements. The individual must be aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality. Additionally, they are responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management. The role requires partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills, and information within the team and across functional areas, and enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.
