Now is the time to define and own your future while helping shape ours. What can you expect as a first shift material handler on a typical shift at ACEMCO? Operate a Powered Industrial Truck to safely move or load products, materials, etc. Adhere to all safety specifications including stacking heights, seat belt use, speed limits, signage, etc. Maintain a high level of awareness when operating a powered industrial truck surroundings to ensure the safety of all associates, products, and equipment. Perform battery charging and changes safely, while adhering to the company's guidelines. Stack products and materials in various environments safely. Function as a member of a work team, and identify safety and process improvements within the facility. Responsible for ensuring and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the work area by performing housekeeping duties. Responsible for working and cross-training in various work centers as required. Completes appropriate paperwork and other documentation. Able to meet daily production requirements. Responsible for additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the supervisor/manager.
