About The Position

What your day in this role might involve at OC-North Platte: Overview To adequately and efficiently transport product, raw materials, etc. from location to location within the manufacturing facility. Ensure all product is transported in a safe manner.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior forklift operation in manufacturing environment
2-3 Years in the field or related area
Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities
Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner
Ability to multi-task
Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility
Stand for 10 - 12 hours straight
Climb and descend forklift numerous times a day
Lift 50 pounds as needed
Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 60 pounds)
Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and clean work environment
To supply doors to the saws
Stage and stack untrimmed doors in a safe, easily accessible manner.
Verify tickets match the doors prior to placing them in the dry room.
Conduct pre-operational inspection.
Clean and maintain the forklift.
Will also perform other related duties as assigned, which may not be specifically listed in the job description
