About The Position

It is the responsibility of each employee of the Company to understand and promote the Company Mission Statement and Statement of Values while adhering to the Company Code of Conduct. The primary responsibility of this position is the loading and unloading of trucks, pulling orders, cleaning the yard and warehouse areas, and assisting customers.

Requirements

None required.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
The skill to operate a forklift and to pass the Forklift Operator Written Licensing Exam
Good math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

Unloading vendor trucks
Receiving and unloading trucks.
Storing all incoming materials in proper location promptly.
Assisting with inventory cycle counts.
Maintaining inventory in a neat and logical manner.
Ensuring no materials leave the yard or warehouse without a ticket.
Pulling orders for shipment.
Complying with Company safety policy.
Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
Operating all material handling equipment in a safe manner.
Reporting all safety concerns immediately to the Warehouse and/or Yard Manager.
Ensuring all shipments and customer pickups are done completely and accurately.
Loading all materials properly to allow a safe delivery.
Pulling orders for shipment as directed.
