About The Position

Alphacomm is seeking Material Handlers (Forklift Operators) to join their Warehouse team. This role is crucial for loading and unloading materials to and from production lines, staging areas, and trailers, operating within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Alphacomm is part of Telementum, a holding company established in 2021 for prominent mobile accessory brands. Telementum aims to innovate the mobile accessories category through fresh solutions and outstanding products. Its portfolio includes Speck Products, founded in 2001, known for its durable and stylish protective cases, and Alphacomm itself, which custom designs, manufactures, and distributes wireless accessories to over 18,000 points of distribution, primarily in the North American Prepaid wireless market. Alphacomm manages numerous carrier brands and is a leader in bringing carrier-licensed accessory portfolios to market for over fifty devices annually, with in-house brands like Quikcell and BosBos.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or (GED).
• Being able to work overtime and weekends on an as needed basis.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Have 2+ years’ experience with sit down, reach, and picker lift trucks.
• Have experience performing daily inspections of fork truck equipment.
• Have RF Scanner experience.
• Knowledge of WMS system required.
• Must complete and pass the Alphacomm Lift Truck Safety test.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Loads product, unloads product, receives product, ship’s product, moves materials at elevated heights, and issues material using system transactions.
• Able to operate sit down propane and electric forklift as well as electric cherry picker.
• Occasionally operating carts, dollies, and other moving equipment to move large quantities of merchandise.
• Unloading received containers and breaking down/sorting product after it has been checked in.
• Working safely around conveyors and racks.
• Working and communicating effectively in a team environment to efficiently complete orders.
• Any special tasks assigned by management.
