About The Position

WSI is currently seeking Material Handlers/Forklift Operators with opportunity for growth in Mount Vernon, IN. Join now and receive a $1500 Sign On Bonus! You have the ability to be at $17.00/hour by the end of your first year! Shifts available: Rotating: 7 evenings, off 2, 6 midnights, off 2, 7 days, off 4 Overtime required. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Operates material handling equipment as required to receive, store, process orders, and ship material. 2. Performs receiving and shipping inspections and identifies all incoming and outgoing material shipments to determine: a) quantity is as ordered b) no damage is apparent, and c) documentation is available as required. 3. Performs physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document the receipt, shipment and control of sample inventories. 4. Final candidates must possess a solid work history, pass pre-employment background and post offer drug screen/physical.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
Must be reliable and safety-minded
Must have a strong work ethic
Excellent attention to detail
Forklift certified or able to obtain certification
Ability to operate material handling equipment
Willing and eager to learn
