About The Position

Coilcraft operates in a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, computers, automotive, broadband communications and consumer electronics. We are seeking a Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler / Floor Associate plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency within our purchasing and maintenance departments. This position is responsible for the safe flow of materials throughout the operation while also ensuring that workspaces and equipment are properly maintained, functional, and compliant with safety standards. The role requires adaptability, strong commitment to workplace and communication.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with basic PC skills
  • Basic knowledge of safety practices
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand basic english
  • A valid Driver's license is mandatory and have the ability to stand long periods and occasionally lift 55lbs
  • Pre-employment physical & drug test required; background check conducted for final applicants
  • This position may require compliance with ITAR export regulations; applicant must be US citizen or have permanent resident status

  • Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, move, and store raw materials, supplies, and finished products
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts
  • Stage materials for purchasing, production, shipping, or distribution
  • Verify materials against packing slips or work orders
  • Follow safety procedures for handling materials and equipment
  • Prepare a variety of shipments that could involve pallet strapping/wrapping
  • Conduct basic preventative floor maintenance tasks as scheduled
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
  • Assist with equipment setup, teardown, and relocations
  • Provide customer service to internal and external customers
