Requirements

• The ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions and procedure documents
• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of warehouse and packaging operations
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights; carry, lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs.
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and/or pull
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Material handling certification
• 1 year of experience in warehouse and/or packaging operations
• The ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work with precise standards of accuracy and within time limits
• The knowledge to rate information using standards that can be measured or checked
• Solid verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Empty, fill, sort, organize and wrap/unwrap product
• Properly build displays, folding cartons and palletized products
• Sort damaged products
• Safely operate various equipment and tools
• Correctly utilize a warehouse management system and maintain appropriate work documents
• Maintain cleanliness and order of work areas
