Material Handler B- Production
About The Position
Moves, unloads, loads, pulls, and stores material from the loading platform, warehouse, production floor, storage locations, or outside storage facilities by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors or other material handling equipment as required by the department to facilitate production, storage, or shipping operations. May pack, crate, secure, label and weigh customer orders or manufacturing orders as required to prepare for shipping, storage, or transportation. May complete cycle counts.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to read basic blueprints.
- Ability to do math involving fractions, decimals, geometry, and measuring methods.
- Able to work within a team environment.
- Ability to comprehend internal documents and compare to order being handled.
- One year related experience in material handling or manufacturing.
- Must be able to operate a forklift as well as a high lift.
- Ability to operate table saw, nail guns and build shipping containers.
- Must be able to interact with other team members daily.
Nice To Haves
- Previous forklift and crane experience preferred.
Responsibilities

- Builds wooden crates, if necessary, using measuring tapes, table saw and nail guns.
- May complete required cycle counts.
