About The Position

Timely delivery material to the correct location. As a Material handler, you will helping to delivery parts in order to build the latest computer chip making machines. This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. Facilitates the receipt, verification, computer transaction and physical movement of all incoming manufactured inventory and non-inventory items. Transports material to other facilities as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Requires 3 to years of relatable experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.
  • Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, and electronic e-mail systems.
  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 35-50 pounds at least twice a day and spend the majority of time (greater than 90% less break time) on the floor working on tool sets, walking three to five miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for nine hours.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Responsibilities

  • Receives and counts of manufactured goods
  • Audits all goods coming from manufacturing to be packaged
  • Conduct Cycle counts on inventory.
  • Supports project improvements in work area
  • Logs receipts via computer system(s).
  • Packages line down parts coming from work centers.
  • Coordinates with Work Cells to resolve discrepant receipts.
  • Files documentation in accordance with department procedures.
  • Coordinates activities related to: Production work order releases, shipment consolidation, ship/confirm, CKM sales order process, and back order process.
  • Processes and packages shipments
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
