About The Position

Intermediate warehousing position that is expected complete all tasks under general supervision. Material Handler 3 performs a variety of warehouse functions including but not limited to receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control. Position in responsible for completing the physical and systematic movement of material in accordance with all safety, cGMP, and quality procedures. Position is expected to transact all material timely and compile and maintain all required documents for material movement as per quality procedures. This position may work with raw materials, dangerous goods, WIP materials, finished goods, returned goods, R&D materials, etc.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a material handling or warehouse role.
  • At least 1 year of experience using Oracle/WMS systems, or 2 years of experience completing transactions in another ERP/WMS system.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience operating electric‑powered material handling equipment.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications at a basic level.
  • Able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Apply strong mathematical and problem‑solving skills to support daily warehouse operations.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all warehousing activities, including receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control, in compliance with Safety, cGMP, and Quality Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform all duties like a Material Handler 2.
  • Demonstrate broad working knowledge of Oracle ERP and HighJump WMS systems.
  • Perform intermediate Microsoft Excel functions, including creating tables and sorting or filtering data.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities.
  • Support international shipping operations as needed.
  • Cross‑trained in multiple warehouse functions, including receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to assist in implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in leading daily team meetings to review team performance and workload priorities.
  • Provide hands‑on training to new hires and temporary employees on warehouse operations.
  • Help assign daily tasks to team members based on priorities established by leadership.
  • Create and run basic reports to support performance metrics tracking.
  • Investigate and resolve basic internal customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Utilize material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, stand‑up reach trucks, sit‑down reach trucks, turret trucks, electric rider jacks, and box trucks to load, unload, and transport materials between areas.
  • Obtain and maintain certification on multiple types of material handling equipment, as required.
  • Perform transactions in ERP/WMS systems, including shipping, cycle counts, material receipts, and shipments.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping and receiving issues using ERP/WMS systems.
