Material Handler- 2nd Shift

The Material Handler position at Ingersoll Rand is a critical role within our operations, focusing on the efficient handling and management of materials in our warehouse. This position operates under limited supervision and is responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility. The Material Handler will work primarily on the 2nd shift, from Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work as needed. The starting pay for this role is $18 per hour, with the potential for increases based on experience, plus a shift premium of $2 per hour. The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving materials from various transportation modes, storing them in designated warehouse locations, and loading and unloading bar stock and machining parts. This role requires the use of forklifts and other material handling devices to move materials efficiently and safely. The Material Handler will also be tasked with maintaining accurate inventory records, utilizing barcode scanners for inventory transactions, and ensuring compliance with ISO procedures and safety regulations. This position plays a vital role in supporting the overall operations of the warehouse and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
