The Material Handler position at Malco Products Inc. involves operating material handling equipment and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within the production environment. Safely operate material handling equipment including tow motors, pallet jacks, and shrink-wrap machines.
Set up automotive orders as required.
Perform designated activities for assigned production lines.
Move materials as needed based on production requirements.
Utilize traveler to check for correct components and safety information.
Assist line personnel with components as needed.
Take care of the waste water treatment system for the 2nd shift.
Move components and finished goods into storage while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Identify quality issues and take corrective action.
Use Personal Protective Equipment as required.
Perform cycle counts on components as needed.
Coordinate and assist with raw material transfer between floors.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Must be able to work 4, 10-hour workdays and overtime as needed.
Good reading and writing skills; ability to perform simple arithmetic.
Hazardous materials training is required.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work as part of a distribution team.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must successfully pass any required testing.
