Position Summary Hours: 7AM-3PM The role will be responsible for supporting facility safety programs while performing duties related to unloading inbound receipts, stock put-a-ways, loading, and supporting operations through material movements throughout the distribution operation.

Requirements

  • Self-direction with an emphasis on quality and productivity
  • Possess decision making and problem-solving skills with little to no direction
  • Communication, basic computer skills, and basic math skills.
  • 2+ years’ experience operating in a warehouse setting.
  • 2 + years’ experience on Stand-up counterbalance forklifts including current experience within the last 12 calendar months.
  • Skilled in SAP/WMS and functionality of Windows Tablet (i.e. material look up)

Responsibilities

  • Complete all required safety and regulatory training as applies.
  • Ability to support front/back/pull to the lines.
  • Ability to support secondary packaging/blending operations (will train).
  • Staging of Finished Goods for outbound shipment to DHL in designated area.
  • Unloading of inbound shipments.
  • Train on High Reach for put away of inbound materials.
  • Ensure all required paperwork is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain forklift and other lifting devices as required, including battery changing/charging, water levels and charging areas, related equipment, as it applies.
  • Interface with all levels of personnel in a positive, team building manner.
  • Work from established procedures and/or verbal instructions, radio communications.
  • Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with the Visual Management and 5S Standards.
  • Follow all prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental laws, OSHA, rules and regulations.
  • Escalate all issues affecting the key metrics: Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve issues.
  • Other duties as assigned due to business needs.
