About The Position

The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations.

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good math and written communication skills.
• Proficient with ERP systems or related software.
• Efficient time management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Move materials on rollers manually to next work stations.
• Load and offload material using forklift and other lift equipment.
• Wrap pallets and make production tickets and scan product labels.
• Read and interpret bill of materials and other related documents.
• Order materials from the warehouse and return to stock unused materials.
• Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
