About The Position

The Material Handler position at Crown Equipment Corporation involves operating lift trucks to manage materials and completed parts within the production area. The role is essential for ensuring efficient inventory management and supporting the overall production process.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to safely operate lift trucks.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience with Crown 360 (SAP) and Mapper preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use a lift truck to move materials and completed parts to proper locations according to production travelers.
• Place and remove parts from floor and rack locations, adjusting loads by hand as required for safe handling.
• Verify and reconcile actual line inventory and coordinate with Production Control to resolve discrepancies.
• Use a computer to access reports and analyze data, making appropriate decisions concerning the accuracy or status of inventory in the assembly area.
• Process replenishment orders and replenish kanbans.
• Perform dock work including loading and unloading of outside supplier trucks.
