About The Position

The position involves performing material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, employees will operate a forklift, overhead crane, and construction tools. They are expected to complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely, and without damage, assist co-workers and customers, inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment, and assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system. Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment and complying with all safety requirements while using applicable personal protective equipment is also essential.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
  • Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

  • Perform material and product loading and unloading activities.
  • Operate a forklift, overhead crane, and construction tools.
  • Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely, and without damage.
  • Assist co-workers and customers.
  • Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
  • Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
