Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a Production Utility Operator to fill a 2nd Shift position. The Production Operator will be responsible for performing material handler and machining duties as outlined below. Starting pay for this position is $23.67 per hour.

  • Maintain material handling equipment, saws and tools in good working order in accordance with established EHS procedures and completing documentation as required.
  • Operate material handling equipment and cranes to load and unload delivery trucks, move incoming and outgoing crates, boxes, skids and parts throughout the facility.
  • Operate overhead cranes from floor or from cab, forklift or pallet truck to lift and move parts, raw materials, machinery and other items as required.
  • Move production and contract parts, tooling, materials and other items such as parts, jigs, fixtures, molds, patterns, in accordance with process documentation, paperless information systems or verbal instructions.
  • Prepare parts and materials for packing by checking quantities, filling orders, waterproofing parts, ordering boxes and crates, and tagging or marking individual parts, as well as generating labels and other information with the aid of a computer.
  • Pick and pack parts into appropriate containers, using the proper tools; make up and pack parts, kits and assemblies, as required.
  • Burr, wash and/or paint parts or assemblies, and identifying parts and attaching product identification, as required.
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum one (1) year of shipping/receiving experience within a manufacturing facility.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Minimum one (1) year shipping/receiving and material handling experience.
  • Able to learn process sequences and follow directions.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of setup and/or operation of assigned equipment.
  • Proficient in shop mathematics, blueprint reading and the use of precision measuring devices such as micrometers and gauges.
