Position Summary: The Material Handler 1 is responsible for moving products using a forklift/pallet jack within the warehouse. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production.
Requirements
- Must be proficient with the stand up forklift, as well as handy with power tools, as you will be fixing broken pallets outside.

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
- Move products and/or pallets from one location to another using a forklift or pallet jack.
- Maintenance of the trash dock.
- Clean/sanitize the compactor and surrounding dock area.
- Empty trash compactors when full.
- Monitor trash dumpsters to ensure items/products are being disposed of properly.
- Bail plastic and cardboard materials to load onto the trailer.
- Monitor inventory of iGPS and wooden pallets and report to the Warehouse Coordinator/Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean working environment, this includes but is not limited to: Warehouse areas, Coolers, Docks and Trailers
- Ensures all areas remain cleaned and tools are returned to rightful locations
- Perform other duties as assigned.
