Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to operate tools and equipment
  • Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds
  • Vision requirements include close vision, color recognition, and focus adjustment

Responsibilities

  • Perform delivery, removal and maintenance of supplies, recyclables or waste at all work centers and common areas within manufacturing.
  • Store materials in designated locations based on material flow strategies.
  • Work with the Material Handler and Machine Operators for corrections on shortages or inventory discrepancies.
  • Sequence and stage raw materials and work in process materials in all of the manufacturing areas in a timely manner.
  • Perform basic truck and trailer loading throughout the plant.
  • Perform safety inspections on forklifts as required.
  • Use radio frequency scanning devices for inventory movements.
  • Pick and package new orders and ship direct from finished goods inventory.
  • Inspect, receive, and label raw materials while confirming purchase order receipts.
  • Warehouse received raw materials based on F.I.F.O. strategies.
  • Assist with weekly, monthly and yearly inventory of work in process, raw materials, and finished goods.
  • Act as the primary contact for manufacturing when additional material is needed due to reject or scrap.
  • Perform general housekeeping to maintain a neat and organized warehouse.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform timely sequencing and removal of raw materials, work in process, scrap and finished good in conjunction with the production schedule to all work centers.
