About The Position
The Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) is seeking a dedicated Material Expeditor to join our team. CABVI is a private not-for-profit agency with a long-standing tradition of providing comprehensive services to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Located conveniently near downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, we pride ourselves on offering an excellent working environment along with a competitive compensation and benefits package. This position is full-time and involves preparing and delivering office supplies and other orders for our Vie-Ability program. As a Material Expeditor, you will be responsible for ensuring that office supplies and orders are delivered accurately and efficiently. This role requires excellent customer interaction skills, as you will be the face of CABVI during deliveries. You will communicate customer feedback to the Communication Center Manager and staff, ensuring that all interactions are professional and friendly. Your duties will include neatly preparing and packaging orders, routing deliveries in the most time-efficient manner, and maintaining a positive personal image through daily hygiene and grooming. In addition to delivery responsibilities, you will also be involved in inventory control procedures, including receiving incoming inventory, performing daily cycle counts, and ensuring that the warehouse is organized and clean. You will operate material handling equipment safely and assist with processing special order paperwork. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service, as you will need to respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
