About The Position

Serves as a Material Expeditor to coordinate and control the movement of military service members through staged departure points of aircraft transport to CONUS or OCONUS locations. Completes Aircraft Load Plans using the Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES). Reviews all unit Air Load Plans with Diplomatic Clearance for HAZMAT to ensure the units do not exceed their planned weights authorized and validated by Air Mobility Command (AMC) and FORSCOM. Coordinates the processing, loading of personnel and cargo based on deployment plans, and aircraft schedules. Attends meeting/briefings with representatives or other officials of the Installation Transportation Office (ITO), Mobility Control Center (MCC), Ground Liaison Office (GLO) and other offices as required. Performs cargo and passenger dispatch duties. Maintains cargo aircraft status board and other tracking systems, receives air mission set-ups and relays information on cargo/passenger processing and movements to the Shift Leader. Monitors deploying units established movement timetable and completes Wheels Up/Down Report to FORSCOM. Utilizes Global Decision Support System (GDDS) and Single Mobility System (SMS) for mission tracking. Coordinates and provides deployment/redeployment information to the ITO, Aerial Port Squadron, Ground Liaison Office (GLO), Arrival Departure Airfield Control Group (A/DACG) and deploying unit on the air movement of personnel and equipment. Complete the AMO Course, perform required PMCS, and operate a 10K forklift in support of missions.
