Tessera is seeking a reliable and organized Material Expediter with a professional attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to:

Requirements

Must be able to provide proper input information to the GCSS-Army system.
Valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance carrier.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position
Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.

Nice To Haves

GCSS-Army certification/experience preferred.
Commercial vehicle and OSHA Forklift Operator certification preferred.
Army MOS 92A is preferred or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Confers with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material status.
Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas manually or using handcart, hand truck, or forklift.
Records and maintains perpetual inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts.
Compiles and maintains records, such as material inventory records, receipt documents, issue documents and bills of lading.
Reads on-hand balances in GCSS-Army and inventory reports to determine availability of stocks ready to be issued to customers.
Examines material received, verifies part numbers, and checks discrepancies.
Operates GSA, Army Owned vehicles, and MHE to relocate parts and supplies.
Utilizes Enterprise, Environmental, Safety & Occupational Health Management Information System (EESOH-MIS).
Performs visual inspections of authorized stock and perform packing and preservation of materials.
Utilizes Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) and Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) to research parts and materials.
