About The Position

You will be the Material Expediter for the Production, Planning and Control organization. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
  • Experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
  • Black Belt trained / certified
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
  • SAP experience

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests to expedite parts delivery.
  • Coordinate inter‑departmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and contracts administration.
  • Maintain accurate Bill‑of‑Materials (BOM) plans and adjust schedules to meet changing demand.
  • Travel to or communicate with production sites and vendor locations as required.
  • Support operations outside normal working hours to address urgent material needs.
