Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months of tractor trailer driving experience
Ability to read and follow written instruction
Able to pass Random DOT & Company drug test
Clean Driving Record
Good math skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively
Physical ability to work and maneuver around work areas

Responsibilities

Safety 24/7/365
Check truck/trailer’s equipment and supplies to ensure vehicle safety and operating condition
Keeps truck & equipment clean, and in good working order
Communicating with supervisor to receive delivery and pickup instructions
May assist with preparing loads, staging material and moving material in the yard
Notify supervisor of current or anticipated maintenance needs
Verify load is secure and weight evenly distributed
Verify trailer load to ensure conformance with shipping documents
Transport material through shop/yard
Load trailers safely/efficiently
Forklift Operation
Crane/hoist Operation
Correctly fill and maintain paperwork for outgoing loads
Other duties as requested
