About The Position

Technica LLC seeks to fill the Material Expediter Lead (Ammunition) position on a government contract with a place of performance at the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) located at McGregor Range, New Mexico. Position Description: The Material Expediter Lead (Ammunition) executes the following: Serves as the primary Lead for the ASP Storage Accountable for all Storage section Material Expediters (Ammunition), vehicles, tools, equipment assigned and used within the Storage section. Provides service to ASP customers, tasking, monitoring, and following through for completeness and accuracy of workload tasked to all Material Expediters (Ammunition) while ensuring integrity of regulations, policies, procedures and direction is followed and adhered. Overseeing and participating in work such as ammunition & explosives (A&E) magazine storage, maintenance, re-warehousing, pre-pulls, as well as transactions processed for gains (tum-in, receipts, ), losses (issues, shipments, etc.) or inter-depot-transfers (IDTs), inventories, from A&E stacks and proper recordings on DA Form 3020-R Magazine Data Cards, as well as proper recordings on DA Form 3151 Ammunition Stores Slips. Provides guidance and direction on the preparation, processing, and movement of all outbound shipment operations. Verifies Material Expediters conduct pre-operational checks on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, government GSA vehicles, and other equipment prior to use. Provides data either routinely and/or as needed for reports to Supply Technician Leads (Ammunition) and/or ASP Supervisor. Responsible for gathering, identifying, reporting and submitting work and service order requisitions within the ASP and area of responsibility in order to maintain a continuous state of readiness with regards to environmental, explosive safety, safety and physical security standards. Responsible for assisting with key control procedures such as issue, turn-in and accountability of magazine keys, and ensuring magazines, facilities and gates are locked and secured. Responsible for accountability of documents being worked on by Material Expediters to be returned back to Stock Control in a timely This includes as pre-pulls, as well as the execution of other transactions such as but not limited to IDTs and ammunition transfer records (ATR). Receives daily workload and additional tasks associated with ASP Contractor responsibilities in support of servicing customers, storage operations, upkeep and maintenance of ASP facilities and equipment from Supply Technician Leads (Ammunition) and ASP Supervisor. Works closely with other Supply Technician Leads (Ammunition) in order to achieve goals and Setting the example and attendance as the Material Expediter Lead (Ammunition) is vital to ASP Storage operations, requirements and critical to the readiness of the ASP and the overall ASP mission. The Material Expediter Lead (Ammunition) is a position of trust which enforces direction coming from Supply Technician Lead (Ammunition), ASP Supervisor, and higher authority. This position is critical to the integrity posture of the ammunition supply point.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must have High School diploma or GED
  • Must possess a current and valid state driver's
  • Must be capable of obtaining a forklift license.
  • Must be computer
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background
  • Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain secret clearance.

  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50
  • Must be physically and mentally capable of handling ammunition and explosives (A&E).
  • Must have a good working knowledge of policies, procedures, handling, storage and hazards associated with A&E such as DA PAM 385-64, DA PAM 700-16, AR 190-11, AR 700-28, and MIL-STD-129R.
  • Must complete the following minimal ammunition courses; Ammo 45, 54, 63, 64, 67 and 68, 75, 76, 108, 112, and Pack 1A.
  • Must complete Ammo 62 within the first year of assignment and maintain Ammo 37 requirements every 2 years afterwards.
  • Must have a minimal of six (6) years of certification and experience handling A&E.
