Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties.
• Use hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices to manage materials.
• Receive incoming materials and prepare them for shipment.
• Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials.
• Prepare records of materials shipped and bills of lading.
• Route materials to their destinations.
• Lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes.
• Prepare parts and tooling for special shipment.
