About The Position

The Material Coordinator is responsible for managing and tracking materials necessary for assembly in a manufacturing environment. This role involves data entry, inventory management, and ensuring that materials meet required specifications. The coordinator will work closely with team leaders to optimize project timelines and minimize delays, while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Background in administrative tasks/inventory
• Quick learner
• Data-entry skills - accuracy in data entry
• Organization

• Proactive problem-solving ability
• Exposure to various software types

Responsibilities

• Data entry of inventory for materials required for assembly
• Track inventory levels and update inventory systems to ensure proper levels of materials are maintained for ongoing projects
• Work with Team Leaders to ensure material is accurate, minimizing delays and optimizing project timelines
• Ensure that all materials meet the required specifications and standards
• Handle any discrepancies or defects
• Input parts in computer
• Inventory management - organize and categorize parts
• Quality control - ensure quality standards are being met
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
