Your Day-to-Day: Ensure material is procured, staged, and available for prefab, testing, and installation activities Review part holds and work with planning for items that are discontinued Monitor part holds and purchase orders to identify material that will need to be expedited or alternately sourced. Work with multiple work groups on issues that arise to find resolution. Monitor daily inventory reports for exceptions Train others on the Materials Management system for facilities supported. Track issues of material not meeting for outages and report to management Attend outage meetings to understand the scope of work / materials Attend outage hit team meetings Ensure Maximo Engineering Requests are submitted for new materials Ensure all Engineering Requests are closed out after review of new item creation and items are planned Identify parts with a long lead/procurement time for outage teams Ensure all materials considered for installation are vetted to ensure item numbers are created per procedure. Ensure Maximo Purchase Requisitions are approved through the appropriate individual(s) per procedure. Ensure obsolete items identified by buyer are communicated to the outage teams Provide recommended replacements for obsolete parts per supplier or through research Provide process improvement input / ideas Other relatable responsibilities as assigned Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: Bachelor's degree or 5 years' experience with Bill of Material, Material Requests, Catalog Identification Numbers, Spare Parts, Inventory List, or Work Breakdown Structure Have knowledge in the staging and tracking of materials, read and interpret design and procurement specifications. Previous experience with Client's software (Maximo) for Inventory, Purchasing, Procurement and Work Management, desired but not required. Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD products), and employment testing.
