Assigned to support the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB), the Material Coordinator supports wholesale supply chain functions to include utilizing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to maintain stock records and other inventory, materiel control, accounting and supply reports. Establishes and maintains accounting records, posts goods receipts and turn-ins. Reviews and verifies quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests and shipping documents. Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, palletizes and stores or issues incoming materials and equipment.

Requirements

  • Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A) (SSA Level)
  • Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS/FEDLOG)
  • Knowledge of warehousing storage layouts, basic warehousing functions
  • Forklift OSHA Operator Training
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, perform with a high degree of accuracy and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • May be required to successfully pass Ammo 62 course (Technical Transportation of Hazardous Materials (CERT) (9E-F58/322-F37)
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must have a valid REAL ID State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
  • Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
  • Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation.
  • 1 or more years’ experience in supply operations warehouse level.
  • Must have experience and moderate knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in Supply Procedure.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with subordinates, peers and senior personnel.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of Supply Support Activity at the tactical and installation level, as well as Army governing regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Above average knowledge of the logistic information polices, process and system that pertain to Maintenance, Supply and Services, and Transportation Services.
  • Knowledge and experience with Logistic Information System, such as Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), Logistic Information Warehouse (LIW), and Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS)/FEDLOG.
  • Ability to oversee the day-to-day logistics, maintenance and transportation activities of a division or brigade sized operation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and SharePoint is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides required retail supply services (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, and IX).
  • Establishes and maintains accounting records, posts goods receipts and turn-ins.
  • Performs analysis of history and activity files pertinent to ERP system rejected documents
  • Processes inventories, and warehousing documents
  • Plans and organizes receipt, issue, storage and maintenance of records for all classes of supply except CL III (Bulk), CL V and CL VIII
  • Stores and pulls Material Release Orders (MROs) for all Class II, IV, VII, and IX items (ASL and Excess) in accordance with SSA internal procedures, AR 710-2 and DA PAM 710 2-2.
  • Performs all necessary inventory and warehouse management functions associated with Stock Control in accordance with AR 710-2, AR 725 -50, DA PAM 710 2-2, ARIMS.
  • Performs COSIS ensuring that materials are maintained in ready-for-issue condition or to prevent uneconomic deterioration
  • Locates and moves materials and parts between work areas of plant to support processing of goods according to predetermined schedules and priorities
  • Keeps related record and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer orders.
  • Confers with department supervisors to determine materials overdue and to inform them of location, availability, and condition of materials, locates and moves materials to specified production areas, using cart or hand truck, and records quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.
