As a Material Coordinator at Fluke's Pomona team, you will serve as the primary contact for the material store, ensuring that production in the manufacturing cells runs smoothly and without interruption. Your role will involve managing the replenishment of materials to meet build rates efficiently, while also maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Inventory accuracy and ordering materials as set up by the Planner/Buyer
  • Physically perform and transact cycle counts in Oracle
  • Reconcile bad counts
  • De-trash and present material to the production area ready for optimum use by the operator
  • Sustain and improve material presentations in the cells applying FBS tools including Fortive Material System (FMS) and 5S
  • Use a pallet jack to move materials between receiving, factory floor and distribution center
  • Expedite internal material requirements, transferring inventory to multiple locations including MRB
  • Collect, analyze, and report data from production processes requiring basic mathematical knowledge
  • Counts, sorts, labels, and packages assembled materials
  • Expected to participate in continuous improvement and Lean processes as appropriate
  • Lead Material planning, policy deployment, and plan execution
  • Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
  • Experience working in lean, continuous improvement manufacturing environment preferred
  • Prior experience working in material and Kanban execution environments preferred
  • Experience working with Oracle preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
