About The Position

The Material Coordinator at IFB Solutions is responsible for supporting the Senior Receiving Clerk by managing material handling in the warehouse. This role involves inventory control, ensuring timely shipping and receiving of materials, and maintaining accurate records of inventory and shipments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and follow instructions
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 40 pounds for a minimum of 25 feet
• Ability to bend, walk, stoop, climb, and stand for 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Receiving Clerk by properly handling materials in the warehouse.
• Inventory receiving materials and provide inventory, storage, and material disbursement controls.
• Maintain control of the Shopping Cart List and Kanban list, ensuring they are fulfilled daily.
• Use scanning equipment for inventory control.
• Ensure work items flow through the Kanban System and notify purchasing of any issues.
• Verify that incoming freight matches vendor packing slips and physical counts.
• Count all incoming receipts and report discrepancies to Purchasing and Supervisor.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage and document any issues.
• Maintain receiving files in an orderly fashion, ensuring their security and integrity.
• Cooperate with Purchasing, Planning, Accounts Payable, and inventory control to reconcile invoices and inventory balances.
• Perform activities in all areas of material distribution, including shipping and pulling parts for production.
• Assist in cross-training other warehouse personnel on processes directed by the warehouse supervisor.
• Update all required reports for the position.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the department manager or supervisor.
