  • Supports the annual and long-term goals outlined in the company strategic and detail plans.
  • Assists with the creation of a highly collaborative material control culture within the organization.
  • Supports the 'One Company' philosophy in all material control initiatives.
  • Responsible for verifying materials received were ordered; match to purchase order or verify with Procurement.
  • Verifies quantity delivered, inspects materials received for damage, marks inventory items with the appropriate stock number and location.
  • Notifies plant personnel that materials ordered have been received.
  • Resolves receipt issues by working with procurement and material suppliers over damaged goods, shipments, incorrect materials and delivery of materials to the incorrect CF location.
  • Signs and dates the appropriate receiving documentation; enters receipts in a timely manner ensuring material accuracy and unit of measure requirements align with the purchase order specifications.
  • Performs assigned cycle counts on the date assigned, verifies item being counted is the correct item, quantity counted is accurate.
  • Ensures inventory items are placed in the appropriate locations the day they are received.
  • Responsible for the housekeeping of the warehouse open areas and proper waste disposal.
  • Prepares material, equipment, scrap, etc. sent off site according to shipping memos.
  • Assists Account Payables with the resolution of receipt and invoice issues related to material receipts.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift in and around warehouse including loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • High School diploma.
  • One year experience within the material control field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Material Control practices and internal control objectives.
  • Good oral and written skills.
  • Familiar with PC based systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to properly lift items up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
  • Role requires frequent standing and walking.
  • Role may require overtime, call-outs, nights, weekends and holidays as plant operates 24/7.
