About The Position

Material Control Technician Position Overview: This job is responsible for providing resolution to departmental problems related to receipts, orders, shipments, and/or materials to meet organizational goals and commitments. Candidates must have the flexibility to attend training for 3–4 weeks during weekday shifts before beginning their assigned weekend schedule. Position Duties and Requirements: Monitors tableau/Oracle reporting to ensure dashboards are current, investigating and resolving the issues Research and resolve issues preventing devices, shipments, materials, authorizations from moving through respective department/processes Communicates with established representative to rectify problems related to order cancelations, materials transactions, call center support, shortages, damage, nonconformances Prepares documents to route materials: shipping labels, work orders, bills of lading Input material movement transactions to Oracle and/or ERP systems As a SME Train and/or cross trains associates as needed Participate in continuous improvement and team building activities Ensures department documentation is accurate and up to date and partners with Engineering regarding any changes Generate internal reports as requested by the department leadership Conducts other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or similar.
  • Minimum experience of 2 years
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to give the team direction.
  • Proficient in all process related procedures and equipment required for performing job functions of the Department
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient with the use of personal computer, enter data, MS Office Internet Research, Oracle, and SQL
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to interact effectively and positively with all levels of company personnel

Nice To Haves

  • Three years of previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
