As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be a pivotal leader, embodying Ford's commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and a people-first culture. Your responsibilities will include: Lead an hourly unionized team responsible for Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping. Deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism. Safety First: Act as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance Driving Operational Excellence: Lead and direct a team of employees across various warehouse functions, including Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping, ensuring the team consistently ships high-quality products and meets or exceeds production targets. You will take ownership of team performance, addressing shortcomings proactively and celebrating successes. Strategic Focus & Problem Solving: Prioritize critical tasks and effectively allocate human resources to maximize efficiency. You will apply for a "Bias for Action," promptly and decisively addressing safety and quality issues to prevent larger problems. This includes identifying and analyzing problems, developing and implementing effective solutions, making timely and well-informed decisions, and adapting to changing circumstances. Team Leadership & Development: Embrace a servant leadership style, focusing on building high performance, winning teams and investing in their growth. You will foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating your team to achieve shared goals.
