We are seeking a highly motivated and disciplined Operations Supervisor to lead a multi-shift warehouse and office operation. This role is responsible for driving excellence across all vital facility metrics—including safety, quality, and delivery—while fostering a productive relationship with the UAW workforce. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between daily floor operations and long-term strategic planning, ensuring seamless coordination with global logistics partners.

Requirements

  • High school or GED
  • 1+ Proven experience in warehouse or manufacturing supervision, preferably in a unionized (UAW) environment.
  • Strong understanding of transportation, export operations, and logistics metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex labor relations and contract negotiations.
  • Experience with budgeting, business planning, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the workforce to achieve targets in Safety, Quality, Timely Delivery, and Error/Denial reduction.
  • Manage UAW hourly personnel across a two-shift operation.
  • Oversee contract administration (National and Local), attendance (AWOLs/Medicals), and vacation scheduling while maintaining a collaborative labor-management environment.
  • Lead and develop a diverse team of salary warehouse/office staff and hourly employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Export Operations, DSV, and Transportation partners to ensure fluid supply chain movement.
  • Partner with Plant Management to develop annual budgets, facility business plans, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Champion a culture of lean operations by identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
