The Material Control Supervisor is primarily responsible in overseeing UAW workers while overseeing the broader operation. This is an onsite position that will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends and most holidays. Eligible for overtime pay when working holidays. What you'll do... Manage to deadlines and timelines, with high degree of planned and unplanned variables and complexities. Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives toward best-in-class performance. Responsible for managing all operations: Inbound, outbound, claims processing, building maintenance. Deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism and Inventory Accuracy. Maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders, including fair and consistent administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Responsible for all operations including, but not limited to: Safety, Denials, Quality, On-time delivery, UAW Relationships, and Transportation. Inventory Management, Manage Budgets, Facility Management, Operational Business Plans, Liaison for all external partners. You'll have... High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn current systems (SAP/EWM) Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently. Goal oriented mindset. A continuous Improvement mindset with a focus on quality and reduced costs. Excellent organizational skills and ability to ensure accountability from all employees. This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440. This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360. This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
