About The Position

The Material Control Specialist I ensures proper handling, storage, and transport of raw materials inventory and in- process product. The Material Control Specialist I maintains transactional inventory accuracy and performs stock rotations in accordance with standard operating procedures. Responsible for daily tasks within warehouse areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work well in a team
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Must meet requirements to be an authorized driver of company insured vehicles

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of SAP/MAX or other material management software preferred
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) & Microsoft Outlook
Forklift certification preferred; on-site training available

Responsibilities

Data entry of all SAP and Max transactions in the receiving and movement of raw material
Pull all needed raw and in-process materials required by the company in a timely
Utilize FEFO/FIFO practices
Assure compliance to all standard operating
Keep work areas in an organized and orderly fashion, storing materials to preserve their
Maintain the accuracy of the inventory through periodic physical counting of the
Assist as needed with material returns accordance to company Quality, Purchasing, Financial and Manufacturing standards.
Ensure expired materials are removed from
Timely transfer of needed materials for production and documents to storage
Operation of
Driving of company
Other responsibilities as assigned.
