Requirements

  • Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree with +1 years of experience; OR an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience; OR a High school diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP).
  • Computer skills in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Food and Drug Administration regulated environment.
  • Prior purchasing/supply chain/planning or other materials management related experience.
  • System Application (SAP) and Products experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages material purchases for assigned suppliers.
  • Works directly with procurement and suppliers to place orders, mitigate material balance risk factors, address supplier issues and material constraints.
  • Oversees and issues blanket purchase orders for applicable materials.
  • Reviews On Time Delivery reports, Open Order reports, and other applicable reports and communicates issues to suppliers as needed.
  • Works with SAP Solutions Team to ensure SAP Master Data fields related to purchasing is correct and updated as needed.
  • Works with suppliers and accounts payable to resolve invoice issues.
  • Make decisions within limited options to resolve basic problems under the supervisor's direction, working in a structured environment using established procedures.
