West Palm Beach Geared Turbo Fan Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (WPB GTF MRO) Materials Team has an opening for a Materials Buyer SIOP who will support the business in the effort of sales, inventory & operations planning. You will be an integral leader in the process of driving Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) across all functions within WPB GTF MRO. This includes net inventory planning, end to end variance analysis, development of real time problem resolution reports, cost reductions initiatives and vendor management. The successful candidate will have working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizes data-driven decision making to enable effective material availability and forecasting for vendor on time deliveries. This role requires daily collaboration across a variety of functional areas through data analysis to maintain organizational goals and objectives. These groups include Operations, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, PW Spares, Shipping & Receiving, Supply Chain and External Vendors. The individual in this role will need to quickly develop credibility and influence while leveraging strong skills, aligning the execution plan to meet critical customer deadlines and financial targets.
