About The Position

The Material Associate at Atrium Health is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing supplies within the healthcare environment. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Receives, stores, and issues supplies, including identification, counts, and processing issued supply documents.
  • Processes transactions accurately and timely for receiving physical goods and filling customer orders.
  • Executes transactions inside the management system using PC and RF scanner technologies.
  • Reviews and verifies all documentation to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Operates powered and non-powered equipment safely and transports goods to prevent damage.
  • Supervises the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures equipment and supplies are handled, stored, and maintained securely.
  • Removes non-functional equipment from service and reports issues for corrective action.
  • Inspects working and storage areas to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Complies with all safety regulations and performs good housekeeping.
