About The Position

Boston Legacy FC is seeking a high-energy matchday host to engage and entertain fans during game breaks at all home games. The ideal matchday host should have an engaging personality and be comfortable following a run of show with the ability to adapt on the fly.

Requirements

• Availability for all home BLFC matches
• Availability for non-matchday events offered throughout the year, as needed
• Prior hosting/emcee experience preferred
• Ability to follow a run of show and execute scripted and non-scripted elements
• Comfortable and confident performing in front of large crowds and on camera.
• Some soccer knowledge is preferred

Nice To Haves

• Spanish or Portuguese speaking is a plus

Responsibilities

• Host on-field activities, promotions, and contests throughout the matchday to keep fans entertained and engaged in the atmosphere
• Engage with fans in the stadium, encouraging crowd participation, leading chants, and creating a lively and positive atmosphere.
• Conduct on-field interviews with fans, players, coaches, and other team personnel, whether scripted or impromptu.
• Collaborate with the game production team to plan and script in-game entertainment elements, ensuring they align with the overall game day experience.
• Demonstrate crowd awareness and adjust energy based on game flow and fan response.
• Interact with fans of all ages in a family-friendly, engaging manner
• Provide availability for non-matchday events, as needed
