About The Position

To identify and intervene with at-risk populations to mitigate psychosocial barriers to optimal care outcomes. Social workers provide services to children, adolescents, and adult patients/families/staff at Children's Mercy and complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans in conjunction with internal and external team members.
This position will work on the inpatient unit and follow patients admitted to the rehabilitation and general surgery services, which includes trauma admissions.

Requirements

• Master's Degree MSW from Accredited Program and 1-2 years experience
• LMSW MO Licensed Master's Social Worker MO required upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment

• LSCSW MO Licensed Clinical Social Worker Specialist MO preferred
