About The Position

The Master's of Real Estate Development Program (MRED) at Clemson University is seeking a Director to lead the program, focusing on training future real estate professionals committed to creating livable, equitable, and sustainable communities. Requirements

• A Ph.D. in real estate, finance, land development, city planning, construction, contract/real estate law, public policy, or a closely related field.
• Previous experience with administering an academic program and positively working with faculty, staff, and upper administration to achieve strategic and long-term programmatic objectives.
• A record of achievements in higher education including research, teaching and service commensurate with the rank of tenured full professor or associate professor.

Nice To Haves

• Professional experience in real estate or a closely related field.
• Degree from or experience with other real estate programs across the nation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and vision to the MRED program.
• Administer the program by collaborating with faculty, students, staff, the program's advisory board, and the real estate development community.
• Manage the MRED curriculum, including the delivery of experiential learning projects.
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain students in the program.
• Manage program budget and resources effectively.
• Contribute to fulfill the program's teaching, research, and service missions.
• Teach two to three classes annually or as needed for the program.
