About The Position

The Social Worker provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic and the NASW. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital. This is a Float position that requires the Therapist to be willing to travel to Ambler, Broomal or Coatesville if needed for both Inpatient and the Partial Hospitalization Programs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work required.
• LSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT - Required.
• 3-5 years prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population required.
• Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred.
• Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age-specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management.
• Experience running group therapy.
• Flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Must be a team player and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.
